JEE MAIN 2013 Corrigendum Change in Exam Centre in Combatore, TN Dated 7 April 2013

It is inform to all the candidate who are appearing at JEE Main 2013 examination scheduled to be held on 7th April at Coimbatore, City Code-864 that due to some administrative reason following changes have been made in centre allocation for respective roll number.

The last date for selection of slots/date for computer based (online) examination was
15th Feb 2013. It has been noticed that some of the aspirants of JEE (Main)-2013 computer
based examination (online) have not selected the slots/dates for Examination as yet. Therefore,
the last date for selection of slots/dates is being extended up to 22/02/2013.
The allotment of slots will be on first come first served basis. If a candidate does not
make any selection by 22nd February, 2013, he/she shall be randomly assigned a slot/date
based on the availability of the same.

Public Notice (Computer Based Examination in Kerala)

JEE (Main) – 2013 Computer Based Exam in Kerala
As per the declared schedule, the Computer Based JEE(Main) Exam was to be
conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi on 9th, 22nd , 23rd
and 25th April 2013 throughout the country including Ernakulam, the only
centre for Computer Based Examination in the state of Kerala.
In order to facilitate the JEE(Main) candidates who have also enrolled to
appear in KEAM-2013 scheduled for 22nd and 23rd April 2013, and who could
not opt for 9th or 25th April at Ernakulam due non availability of slots, the
Board has decided to increase capacity by creating three new centres to
conduct Computer Based JEE(Main) Exam. The new centre cities are given
below ;

929 Kottayam 9th,22nd,23rd and 25th April 2013
930 Thiruvananthapuram 9th,22nd,23rd and 25th April 2013
931 Thrissur 9th,22nd,23rd and 25th April 2013
As such the JEE(Main) candidates who have enrolled to appear both for
Computer Based JEE(Main) Examination on 22nd and 23rd April 2013 at
Ernakulam and KEAM-2013 may give their choice to appear for their Computer
Based JEE(Main) Examination at any of the above mentioned cities and dates.
This facility will be available upto 22nd Feb 2013.

As notified earlier, it is again brought to the notice of all the aspirant and registered candidates of JEE (Main)-2013 that the facility for correction in their data (particulars) will be operational on the website www.jeemain.nic.in from 15.01.2013 to 24.01.2013. All the registered candidates for the said examination are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make correction in their particulars, if any, in their registration form. However, the change of city for examination and change of mode from computer based to pen & paper based is not allowed. Since, it is one time facility, extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them, the candidates are advised to make the corrections, if any, latest by 24.01.2013. Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by the JEE Unit under any circumstances. The correction slip generated after corrections with the bank draft of additional amount (if applicable) and copy of earlier confirmation page is to be sent to JEE Unit on the address mentioned below so as to reach latest by 31.01.2013.

ADMIT CARD FOR JEE (Main) – 2013
The Admit Card can be downloaded from JEE (Main) official website from 1st March 2013 onwards. PRIOR TO DOWNLOADING THE ADMIT CARD, THOSE CANDIDATES WHO DID NOT PROVIDE THE ROLL NUMBER OF THEIR CLASS 12th/OTHER QUALIFYING EXAMINATIONS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE SO.
The candidates are advised to download their admit cards from JEE (Main)
website only. The Candidates are also advised to regularly see JEE (Main) website for updates. A call center will also be functional on all working days from 1st February 2013 onwards for general facilitation.

JEE Main 2013 How and where to Send the Confirmation Page
The Confirmation Page is to be printed on A-4 size paper and kept in an A-4 size envelope/proper size envelope.
The completed Confirmation Page must be sent only by registered/speed
post to the Executive Director JEE (Main) – 2013 at the address given below.

Confirmation page sent by the courier/hand delivered will be rejected
without any further correspondence.
Last Date for Receipt of the Confirmation Page
The computer generated Confirmation Page with photographs pasted,
address written, signed by the candidate, signed by the parent and counter
signed by the Principal/Gazetted Officer must reach the JEE (Main)
Secretariat on or before 26th December 2012.

CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION Jeemain qualification

Date of Birth
Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1988
are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe
(ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed
by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PwD candidates who were born on or after
October 01, 1983 are eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary
Education Board/University certificate will only be considered

JEE Year of Passing Qualifying Examination (QE) Main 2013
Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any other
qualifying examination in 2011 or 2012; or those who are appearing in their
Class 12th Exam or any other qualifying examination in 2013 are eligible to
appear in JEE (Main) – 2013. Candidates who passed Class 12th/Qualifying
examination in 2010 or before as well as those who will appear in such
examination in 2014 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main)-2013.
Candidates who appeared in class 12th/other Qualifying Examinations in
2010, did not pass in 2010, but passed in 2011 are also not eligible to appear
in JEE (Main) 2013.
Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/any other
Qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE (Main). In the
year 2013 however, the candidates who have taken four subjects are also
permitted to write JEE 2013 as an exception.
